Sushant Singh Rajput case: Enforcement Directorate takes note of Riya Chakraborty's claims of stealing Rs 15 crore

Ever since actor Sushant Singh Rajput died prematurely, the names of films from which Sushant was dropped have been revealed one after another.

One such film is Romeo Akbar Walter which was directed by Robbie Grewal. In June of 2017, while talking to an online movie channel, Sushant Singh Rajput had asked the producers of the film to finish shooting the film within 12 months. He signed the film in the month of February 2017, however, eventually walked out of the venture.

The film was started on October 1, 2017, and was completed by November 30. However, in the month of August, Sushant had opted out of the film citing the date issues. Reportedly, the film’s opening was delayed as a result of major changes to the film’s script. The producers planned to make a large-scale film. Explaining his exit from the film, Sushant Singh Rajput had mentioned, “Unfortunately due to change in my prior commitments I will not be able to be a part of Romeo Akbar Walter. I wanted to be a part of this movie because I really like the story and I believe it is such a great story that needs to be told. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, I could not be a part of this film. I wish the film’s producers all the best. ”

Then Sushant had different films like Kedarnath, Drive, Chanda Mama Door Ke, and Sonchiraya. In November, stories of Abhishek Bachchan replacing Sushant Singh Rajput in a Raw movie came to the media. However, as soon as March 2018, the Makers confirmed that John Abraham would lead Romeo Akbar Walter. The film was last started in June 2018 to meet its 60-day schedule. The film starred Jackie Shroff, Mouni Roy and Sikander Kher. The film was launched within theaters on April 5, 2019.
